Miles for Smiles Fundraiser
We need your help to serve the children, families, and individuals that count on our help! The people that LRCS serves are your neighbors, friends, and family members who are living with lifelong developmental disabilities or life-changing brain disorders; children and adults with autism spectrum disorder; seniors navigating the infirmities of aging and chronic illnesses; and families struggling to raise their children while challenged by toxic stressors such as poverty, domestic violence, substance misuse, and homelessness.
LRCS is one of Belknap County’s largest and most comprehensive social service agency. Reaching the entire Lakes Region and beyond, LRCS serves approximately 1,200 people annually through our Developmental Services programs, and another 500+ families and 1,000+ children annually through our Family Resource Center.
While much of the core services we provide are paid for through Medicaid and other similar government funding for people’s basic needs, there is much that is not covered, and charitable contributions are thus vital to sustain the scope and breadth of service we provide.
